Bicknell Municipal Utilities
The Water Department and Wastewater Department provide drinking water and sanitary sewer service to Bicknell homes and businesses. The water office at 203 Washington Street handles new service, billing questions and payments.
Utility emergency after hours? For a water main break, sewer backup or other urgent problem outside office hours, call Knox County Central Dispatch at 812-882-1502.

Each year the Water Department publishes a Consumer Confidence Report describing where Bicknell’s water comes from, what it contains and how it compares with state and federal standards.

Wastewater treatment
The Bicknell Wastewater Treatment Plant is located at 700 S. Division Street and is overseen by Wastewater Superintendent William Soltwedel.
