Halloween Parade & Trunk or Treat

Costumes on Main Street this Saturday: the Bicknell Halloween Parade steps off at 5:00 p.m., and Trunk or Treat runs 5 to 7 p.m. with bounce houses, food vendors, popcorn, crafts and giveaways.

This Saturday, October 31. Parade lineup at the North Knox Primary parking lot; the parade starts at 5:00 p.m. Trunk or Treat on Main Street from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Bring non-perishable food for Helping His Hands to enter the giveaways.

The Halloween Parade

Bicknell’s Halloween Parade returns Saturday evening with this year’s theme, “Top Gun Flight School.” The parade is recommended for children ages 3 to 12, and a few lucky kids along the route will come away with aviator sunglasses and “limited edition” pilot autograph cards.

Parade entries line up in the North Knox Primary School parking lot and the parade starts at 5:00 p.m. From the school, the route follows East 6th Street west, turns south on North Franklin Street, and reaches the presentation point at Franklin and East 4th Street shortly after 5:00. From there the parade continues down North Main Street, right through the Trunk or Treat.

Organizers ask that smaller children be given room along the route. Volunteers will be watching the candy scramble, so please remind your kids to be patient and courteous with the little ones.

Redrawn from the city’s 2026 parade map. The parade forms in the North Knox Primary parking lot, follows East 6th Street west, turns south on North Franklin Street to the presentation point at East 4th Street, and continues down North Main Street through the Trunk or Treat.

Good places to watch: anywhere along East 6th Street or North Franklin Street, and the presentation point at the corner of Franklin and East 4th. Main Street south of 4th is the Trunk or Treat pathway, so plan to walk that stretch rather than drive. Expect street closures on the route from about 4:30 p.m.
